Thank You for Your Interest

Based on the information provided, you may not be eligible for our government-funded program at this time. If your situation changes for one of the following scenarios, you’re welcome to submit a new application:

The Agentur für Arbeit/Jobcenter’s primary goal for anyone under 25 is usually Initial Training (Erstausbildung). They want you to get a full vocational qualification (like a 3-year Apprenticeship/Duale Ausbildung) before they fund a shorter “Weiterbildung” (further education/certificate).

Therefore, people under the age of 25 are typically not awarded funding for weiterbildung programs like Cybersteps. If you received an indication from your caseworker that you may be eligible, please reach out to us via email at [email protected].

Unfortunately, current university, college, or other full-time students are not eligible for a Bildungsgutschein.

If you’re unable to find a job within 6 months after graduation, you may become eligible at that point, and you’re welcome to resubmit your application then.

To be eligible for a Bildungsgutschein, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You currently live in Germany
  • You have legal residency status in Germany
  • You have worked in Germany in the past

If you do not meet these conditions, you are not currently eligible for a Bildungsgutschein.

To be eligible for our Bildungsgutschein-funded program, you must be:

  • Unemployed, or
  • At risk of unemployment (e.g., your job is ending soon, or you’re in a temporary or unstable position)

If you are currently employed with no risk of job loss, you are not eligible at this time.

However, if your employment situation changes in the future, you may become eligible, and you’re welcome to submit your application again at that point.
