Cybersecurity bootcamps are quick and intensive 2-6 month programs that provide basic training to enter the field as a junior. Cybersteps is a comprehensive 12-month training program that includes a 2-month internship. In addition to foundational training, Cybersteps offers advanced training and specialization, equipping graduates with the skills needed to excel and become stronger candidates for cybersecurity roles. This extended, in-depth approach provides a more solid foundation and better preparation for the job market.
Generally, university students are not eligible to receive funding through a Bildungsgutschein. To qualify for a Bildungsgutschein, you must be eligible to register with the Arbeitsagentur or Jobcenter—typically by being unemployed, facing unemployment, or working in a short-term employment situation. Additionally, we will do everything necessary to help you find a job. We offer unlimited job support both during and after the program. Our professional mentors, along with our HR and career experts, will assist you in finding job openings, refining your resume, preparing for interviews, and negotiating salary and terms.
AI tools are a great productivity booster for work, including day-to-day cybersecurity tasks. Our curriculum covers essential AI technologies and tools and recommends using AI when suitable. Don’t worry – you’ll receive guidance and learn how to leverage generative AI effectively for your role in cybersecurity.
No prior knowledge of cybersecurity or programming is required. Our program is designed to support all levels of experience. Motivation, determination, and passion are better indicators of success than prior experience. However, to thrive in our program, you should have:
- Comfort with learning in English (we offer mentorship and support in English, German, and Russian)
- Basic computer skills
No prior technical knowledge is required to join our courses. However, to qualify for financial support through a Bildungsgutschein, you must:
- Have a registered residence in Germany
- Speak English at a B1 level or higher
- Be registered as a job seeker
