Cybersteps Referral Program Terms
1. How It Works
Once you register for our referral program through the official form, you’ll receive a unique referral link. You can share this link with friends, family, or colleagues who are interested in starting a career in cybersecurity. If someone signs up using your link and successfully completes the enrollment process, they’ll become an official Cybersteps student — and you’ll become eligible for a referral reward, provided all conditions outlined in this document are met.
2. Program Agreement
By participating in the referral program, you agree to these terms and any additional guidelines provided on the Cybersteps website. This agreement applies to both the person sharing the referral link (“you”) and the person being referred.
3. What Qualifies as a Successful Referral
To be counted as a successful referral:
- The referred individual must complete full registration and be accepted into our 14-month training program.
- They must stay enrolled and active in the program for a minimum of 10 days.
- All referrals must be submitted through the official Cybersteps referral form and must be clearly linked to the referring individual.
- The referral must be disclosed at the time of the referred person’s first personal interaction with Cybersteps (such as an admissions consultation or interview). The referred candidate must mention that they were referred during that initial conversation.
- Referrals that are disclosed after the first contact are not eligible for a reward.
4. Rewards & How They’re Issued
As a thank-you, both you and the person you refer will receive an Amazon gift card once all eligibility criteria are met.
- Gift cards are sent out after the referred student has been actively enrolled for 10 days.
- You’ll receive email updates to track your referral’s progress.
- There’s no limit—you can refer as many people as you like, and each successful referral earns its own reward.
5. Referral Tracking
We’ll keep you updated via email on the progress of your referrals. If you have any questions, need assistance, or would like to check the status of a referral, our support team is here to help.
6. Not an Employment Relationship
Taking part in the referral program does not make you an employee, agent, or representative of Cybersteps. You don’t have any authority to speak or act on our behalf.
7. Referral Link Expiry
Some referral links may expire after a certain period. If you’re unsure about the expiration date of your link, check your referral email or contact support.
8. Misuse & Disqualification
Cybersteps may revoke rewards or block users from the referral program if any of the following occurs:
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Sharing referral links in unauthorized places (e.g., coupon sites)
- Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
- Any behavior we deem to be dishonest or manipulative
We take fairness seriously—please refer responsibly.
9. Handling Duplicate Referrals
If someone is referred by multiple users, the reward will go to the person whose referral link was used first during registration. Cybersteps reserves the right to decide who the valid referrer is in case of disputes.
10. Taxes & Reporting
Depending on your local laws, your referral reward may be considered taxable income. You’re responsible for understanding and fulfilling any tax obligations in your country or region.
11. Program Duration & Changes
The referral program is ongoing but may be paused or ended at any time. We also reserve the right to modify or update these terms without advance notice.
If you continue to participate after changes are made, it means you accept the updated terms.
12. Liability
Cybersteps is not liable for the availability of the program or for any technical faults.
